Ninja Star has been around for some years now, so it doesn’t have the sharp graphics you might expect from a more recent title. It does, however, have a ninja theme, and who can resist that? With the titular ninja swooping into play on occasion, what else might you expect to see here?

The game is based on a traditional format

This allows you to bet a quarter on everything. You can also go through other values to see if something else might suit you better. However, the biggest coin is 25 cents, so even the top bet is nowhere near as high as you’ll find in other games.

Where does the ninja come into things?

How about as a wild symbol? He’ll spring into life on the first, third, and fifth reels here, but not the other two. He can land multiple times on the same reel, too. The only thing he won’t stand in for is the ninja star, which is used as a scatter icon.

How about some Ninja Star bonuses?

Three scattered ninja stars will give you eight free spins with a 3x prize multiplier. Game logos can appear in these games, and whenever they do, they’ll change into a scatter or a wild.

If you find three logos on the first three reels, you can play the Ninja Scrolls bonus feature. This can play over several levels, with pairs of scrolls coming into play each time. The challenge is to see how far you can get – the further you go, the better the prize.

Is this an oldie but still a goodie?
